Faith. Family. Farming.
Who we were and who we are.
Schmidgall Family Farms started in Central Illinois around the mid 1940s by Raymond and Myrtle Schmidgall and has been in the family every since. Faith and Family was and still is at the core of this farming operation. Without these two things they would not be where they are today. The farm is now run by Ray and Myrtle's youngest son, Les Schmidgall, who has been farming since 15 years of age after Raymond passed away. Since then, Schmidgall Family Farms has grown and expanded into a multi-facited business including a grain farm, cattle operation, and trucking company.
Our slogan is "Two Generations Farming for the Future". We are a Father/Son farming operation and we strive to build a bright and prosperous future for all parties involved.
